Stories Bookstore and Cafe on Sunset has a lot going on this month. For those of you who have not ventured inside, there is an outdoor area in back for relaxing and they have wireless internet. See the Stories menu posted here.

Mac n’ Cheese Mondays:

A special patio performance from Boy Scout Jamboree, the acoustic-ish country-ish alter ego of Spindrift – LA’s hip version of psych rock meets Morricone.

StoryTimeFunLand kids’ party train meets every Weds on the Stories patio! Songs, stories and a little sunshine for the kids. Café discounts during STFL.  StoryTimeFunLand now also has a CD, “Welcome”, with their hit song “Sea Monkey Shake.”

Every Thursday at 5:00 pm:
Tarot card reading on the patio with Marcela; $20.00 for a reading.

Every Friday at 7:00 pm:
Friday Night Knits: Tina Marin and Michelle Tritten host a non pressure “stitch & bitch.” Bring your knitting, get some coffee and knit one/ purl two.  For those of you who know your way with yarn and for those of you who end up in knots.
