Delilah’s Bakery turkey sandwich is probably the best of its kind around. Extreeeemely fresh bread, real turkey (yes, real! not the processed, sliced kind), and a mini cupcake on the side. Delicious!

The Park restaurant has some really great sandwich deals during the weekdays – the Curry Chicken sandwich pictured above is only $5. Plus it helps that it’s the best curried chicken I’ve had in a long time!

I’m not a red meat-eater, but if you’re looking to expand your sandwich horizons try a Vietnamese Banh Mi at Xoia. The one pictured above is a Lemongrass Pork Carnitas sandwich. They’ve also added vegetarian curry tofu Banh Mi that I’ll be giving a try on my next visit!

How can you forget about the sandwiches at KG Bakery on Echo Park & Scott? Not only are they great, they are cheap – $6 gets you a sandwich, a drink, and a slice of cake! You can’t beat that.

I recently tried the Carnitas Banh Mi at Xoia, and I was really impressed. It’s all-around delicious. It even made the Gastronomer’s top LA Banh Mi list, and she’s and aficionado!
You should treat yourself to a delicious club sandwich in happy tom’s at 1807 w. Sunset blvd. Mmmm….
I haven’t tried the Chicken Curry at the Park, but I love their Italian sub. It’s a little on the spicy side, but really yummy. And yeah, it’s $7 not $5, but worth every dime.
and you can get the KG bakery sandwich by itself for $4. they also have a veggie pork sandwich that is awesome. and they look just like the xoia photo.
