Ballard’s Artwork Framing and Gallery is hosting an art opening for artist Leland Bankowski titled “1/2 a Christ, 1/2 a V Meyerhold and 1/2 a Stray Dog.” I’m sure you can expect some libations, snacks, and awesome art. And what a great way to check out Ballard’s – because it is really awesome.

Stop by Ballard’s Artwork Framing & Gallery tonight for the opening of their three-week long group show of “Local Music Photographers.” The show will feature portraits and performances, long with candid photos by Sterling Andrews, Jeff Koga and Laurie Scavo. The exhibit ends October 16.
The show opening show starts at 8:00 pm, and will include performances by Ferraby Lionheart and the Parson Red Heads (owner Aaron Ballard is a band member)

We wrote recently about Ballard’s Artwork Framing re-opening at its new home on Sunset, and we now know it is sharing the retail space with a fair trade gifts and accessories organization called Raven + Lily.
The grand opening event is coming up on Saturday, August 7 and includes drinks and cupcakes from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm followed by wine and cheese until 10:00 pm.
