Mark your calendars: The Central City Action Committee (in charge of that graffiti removal in our neighborhood as well as after school programs for kids) is having a rummage sale!

They get some awesome, I mean FANTASTIC donations to help raise money for its programs. We’ve heard of prizes that were not collected from The Price is Right get donated here. Vintage items, clothes, toys, furniture, books, household items, and more! A couple of new items include an electric fireplace, an “Abdominal Track System Exercise Machine” (will have to go to the sale to see what this thing is), and a child inflatable jumper.

Check it out on Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14 from 10:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Who knows, maybe the Abdominal Track System Exercise Machine will make a perfect V-day gift for your significant other!

The CCAC is located at the old fire station at 534 E Edgeware Road.

Summer is a busy time for the Central City Action Committee teams as they raise funds for youth summer programs – beaches, museums, movies, camping, and all things that will keep kids off the streets. Three days of each week during the summer, the youth also actively participate in graffiti removal and community clean-up/beautification projects.

An easy way to support the CCAC is by stopping by their location this week at the old fire station for their rummage sale for some great items including a greenhouse.

The rummage sale takes place at 534 East Edgeware Road from 10:30 am – 7:00 pm through Friday, July 8, 2011.

Check out the Central City Action Committee (CCAC) rummage sale in front of the old fire station and help support all its great youth programs. The rummage sale started today at 10:00 am and goes until 6:00 pm.

Today isn’t your only chance to check out the sale, other days include Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, at the same times.

CCAC is located at 534 East Edgeware Road, at the old Firestation No. 6.
