2010 LA Marathon from the Stadium to the Sea

Echo Park residents beware! The LA Marathon will start at Dodger Stadium next year on March 10 and run through Echo Park and Silver Lake. Plan ahead (and hope parking near your home won’t be an issue)! Check out the map here (mile markers haven’t been added yet):

Dodgers Geared Up for Game 1 of NLDS

Be on the lookout for some Dodger Stadium traffic around Elysian Park as the Dodgers play the Cardinals in game 1 of the NLDS (we’ll be there!). And, as an LAist post points out, the Mayor has bet some L.A. favorites as tradition.

So far, Villaraigosa has bet:

  • Dodger Stadium garlic fries
  • El Tepeyac’s Manuel burrito
  • The LA Times
  • A case of Bud
