Silver Lake Jubilee this Weekend
The Silver Lake Jubilee is a two-day music and art event featuring 35 music acts, multi-disciplinary art, local artists and crafters, food from local restaurateurs, interactive booths, and various cultural enclaves in the Silver Lake and surrounding communities (Spaceland, Origami Vinyl, buzzbands.la and El Echo Parqeuño are curating music for the event).
The event will have a very strong focus on the environment, including the implementation of “Zero Waste initiatives with the goal of 90% land fill diversion and sourcing power from alternative energy resources.” There will be several interactive “villages,” including a Children’s Village, Literary Village, Arts Village and Eco Village.

Think. Fast., Blue Jungle, Lilofee, Tijuana Panthers, Halloween Swim Team, Big Whup, Dirt Bird, KILLSONIC, Mississippi Man, Francisco The Man, Polls, Death Kit, So Many Wizards, Wet & Reckless, Tenlons Fort, The Health Club, Downtown / Union, Amanda Jo Williams, Allah Las, Lola Red and The Kicks, Paper Pilots, Moses Campbell, The Denouement, Family of the Year, Social Studies and Bowery Beasts.

There are three entrances to the event: El Cid off of Sunset Blvd., the corner of Myra/Effie, and the corner of Myra/Hoover.

Could you please explain what the ;No water bottle event’ means precisely.
Bring a cup? can it be made of plastic? how will i be hydrated. You really should
be clear about water.

The only additional information I have found on the Silver Lake Jubilee website about the water and cups is located here: http://silverlakejubilee.com/event-info-2/eco-commitment/
They do not inform of what the alternative is for those who don’t bring their own cup, however I imagine that you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a re-useable cup there.
