Is this a female? I used to live in Angeleno Heights on Carroll Ave and there was young woman in her early 30’s with a similar looking bulldog that would always walk her in the neighborhood.
It’s a male, and he is very sweet. Also, very large. 🙂
I’ll take him he’s not found by his owner.
Have you taken him to a vet who can scan him for a microchip? They do it for free, and it takes about four seconds. We found a dog recently and took her to Eagle Rock Emergency, where they found a chip and called the owner.

There’s an English Bulldog that lives on Echo Park Ave. I’ve seen him many times behind a chainlink fence in the front yard of a house, Can’t remember exactly which house, but for sure it’s between Sunset and Baxter.
I think I’ve seen this dog hiking with a man and another dog on the trail in Elysian Park. It may be worth posting a flier there?
He was hanging out at our house for a few days. He’s such a sweetie, though dirty and pretty roughed up. There was paint on his fur and his snout was damaged. Our landlord said he is a homeless dog that had been abandoned, and I had been communicating with the Southern California Bulldog Rescue to get him some medical attention and help him find a family. Unfortunately he was not long enough for that to happen – I think a neighbor came and took him in. Whoever has him right now, let me know that he’s okay and being taken care of; I have been worried about him 🙁
